RECLINERS
Disc and Flange:
A seat recliner including seat back and cushion supports connected about a pivotal
axis and positioned relative to each other against pivoting in an infinite
array of positions. The mechanism features include infinitely-variable
manual or powered adjustment of the backrest angle combined with centric or
eccentric, easy-entry function and table function. A high-load version is available
for seats with integrated seat belts.

Linear Recliner:
A seat recliner mechanism particularly suited for use in the front seats
of pickup trucks and two door vehicles, as well as in the rear seats of
vans, minivans, sport utility vehicles, station wagons and the like. A single
release handle is provided to adjust the angle of the seatback as well as
to dump the seatback to a forwardly folded position. The present seat recliner
mechanism enables the reclining and forward folding motion to operate about
a common axis or independent axes.

the upper hinge member in a fixed position relative to the lower hinge member
and an unlatched mode for releasing the upper hinge member for movement relative
to the lower hinge member, and a memory mechanism operable in a non-actuated
mode and an actuated mode. A seat having a single position memory feature
that permits the seatback to be returned and latched in a predetermined "design" position
after having been folded into a memory actuating position.
