A vehicle seat assembly includes a seat support structure, a seat back portion coupled to the seat support structure and a seat cushion portion coupled to the seat support structure. The seat cushion portion includes a rear section and a front section. The movable front section is mounted to the seat support structure for operation in a passenger-supporting orientation and an upright cargo-retaining orientation.
