A message from Michael R. Fisher
Thank you for taking the time to learn more about Fisher & Company. We hope to communicate to you the unique nature of our company: a cohesive blend of strong work ethic, family culture, entrepreneurial flair, and engineering and manufacturing excellence that has brought the biggest and best automotive companies to our door to find solutions to their daunting safety challenges.
We would like for you to become familiar with one of the most technologically-advanced industrial organizations around. We’ll provide a first-hand view of the creative environment, full of talented designers and engineers, superb manufacturing groups, and savvy execution teams. There is a hands-on, rolled-up shirt sleeves kind of spirit here, an atmosphere that encourages each of our associates to create customer excitement at every opportunity.
Our family traces its roots to the dawn of the automotive industry in the United Sates over 100 years ago. In the early 1900’s, the Fisher Body Company revolutionized the automotive industry as a pioneer in high-volume precision metal forming and assembly for automobile bodies – renown for vehicle safety, comfort, and competitiveness. Later, as the modern occupant safety restraint industry evolved, Fisher teams invented and produced the finest seat belt buckles and restraint systems. Since 1980, our Fisher Dynamics division has been at the forefront in the development of seat recliner and latch mechanisms for all types of front and rear seats in passenger cars and trucks.
We have grown and expanded steadily to serve our global customers and we continue to receive accolades from each of these customers for our outstanding performances. As you proceed, you will find that this success is based on six major themes: attitude, innovation, people, technology, flexibility, and a global reach. All of these guide us to our principle focus, “Innovating Automotive Safety Solutions” for all of our customers. Join us and experience the Fisher difference.
